A picture of a peculiar, real-life family who live in physical and social seclusion on their little plot of scrubby woodland, barely twenty miles out of London. A film document of the Page family; Mr Page, his sons Jim and Peter and daughters Kathy and Nancy, earn a living from repair jobs on old pieces of machinery, and live wild in the Sussex woods near Horsham. The film documents their emotions and domestic relations, and explores the extent to which the family has repudiated organised society.
