Day of Reckoning

Drama. John Day is convicted for embezzlement after falling into debt because of the extravagant habits of his wife, Dorothy. While he is in prison George Hollins, a businessman, makes a play for Dorothy by offering her a job in his office. Dorothy becomes more and more involved with Hollins leaving the maid, Mamie, the only one still loyal to John. Kate Lovett, Hollins' former lover is wild with jealousy and eventually shoots and kills Dorothy. Hollins takes the blame and ends up in prison with Day who is determined to get his revenge.
