High Sierra
Big Mac helps Roy Earle escape from prison in order for him to help in the planning of a hold-up. The crooks hide out up in the High Sierra Mountains, accompanied by Marie, towards whom Roy starts to feel protective. During the getaway henchmen Babe and Red are killed and the insider they had helping them, Mendoza, reveals everything to the police. Roy seeks out Velma, a girl with whom he fell in love earlier, but finds she is engaged. On the run Roy is eventually tracked down by the police in the mountains and killed in a shoot out.
