Cast & Credits

Synopsis

On January 3, 1971, the Winter Soldier Investigation opened in Detroit. It was organised by the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, and, during the three days of hearings, sixteen civilians and over one hundred veterans testified, informally but in public, to the war crimes that they had either witnessed or committed in Vietnam. The film records the testimony of twenty-eight of the veterans, and briefly shows some on-the-spot reactions to their testimony.
