Young Man with a Horn
Inspired by the life of jazz player Leon Bismark `Bix Biederbecke' who died in 1931 at the age of 28 after a long battle with chronic alcoholism. A jazz trumpeter's rise to fame; his moral disintegration after an unhappy marriage; and his last-minute rehabilitation. Trumpet playing dubbed by Harry James.
