Period comedy. San Francisco, 1940. Clumsy gumshoe Lou Peckinpaugh is accused of murdering his partner, whose wife has been Peckinpaugh's mistress. A parody of The MALTESE FALCON, CASABLANCA, The BIG SLEEP and others 1940s films.
