The Clock
A young soldier on leave in New York meets an office worker at the station. He has only a few days before he goes to war, so she agrees to show him the sights of the Metropolis. As they travel together a warm friendship develops into love. They agree to meet again later that day under the clock at the station where they first met. After an evening of developing romance, they agree that, despite only knowing one another for such a short time, they will become wed. Soon after the hastily arranged wedding, the young newly weds are parted as the groom leaves his bride at the station - their future uncertain.
