North by Northwest
Thriller. New York advertising executive Roger O. Thornhill is mistaken by a gang of spies for a Federal agent named George Kaplan. They make various attempts on his life and make him look like a murder suspect at the United Nations building. He flees their clutches, crossing America by train and coach, and is menaced by a cropduster, while he uncovers a plot involving smuggled microfilm. He faces the villains in a final showdown on Mount Rushmore.
