Synopsis

Examines what is known about the crown-of-thorns starfish, which, owing to some activity of man, escaped its natural balance and caused enormous destruction of corals in the Australian Great Barrier Reef and around the Pacific islands. Also looks at the underwater world of the Red Sea. Made by the Cambridge university Coral Starfish Research Group. First transmitted in 1973.
