Synopsis

Series of six programmes looking at how much free speech the media in Britain has. What gets published, what doesn't - and why? Using newspaper editors, journalists, reporters, TV producers, executives and lawyers, Arthur Miller puts hypothetical stories to the selected group. They are asked whether they would carry the story, taking into account the (fragile) moral and legal implications of their responce.
