MAGIC STICKS
An impoverished young drummer obtains a pair of magic drumsticks from a street pedlar. When he plays with them he discovers native New Yorkers respond by becoming temporarily in a kind of magic state. He charms Shirley with the sticks, but finds that other dishonest parties also want the sticks.
