Television play set in the Swiss Alps. A woman, running away from her husband, elopes with her lover to a Swiss inn. Everything seems normal, except that everyone seems to have disappeared. Fires are burning, food is laid on the table and beds made. They discover that the whole village is in the same state - everyone seems to have disappeared. Other travellers arrive at the inn, including a composer, a boxer, an English family and the woman's husband.
