A critical response to a newspaper photograph of Jane Fonda talking to North Vietnamese people. The camera is set for long periods on the photograph, occasionally switching to other photographs and movie stills, while Gorin and Godard analyse it. They discuss the implications of Fonda's expression and role in the photograph, and why it was chosen to be widely used in European newspapers. Originally intended to accompany the film TOUT VA BIEN.
