Synopsis

The story of the children at the deaf-blind school in Zagorsk, 40 miles North of Moscow, and a look at its remarkable teaching methods, which have enabled one former pupil Natasha, to be a mother of two, a practising child psychologist, a philosopher and poet, in spite of being almost totally blind and deaf.
