Party Time (1992)

Film details

Synopsis

Set in smart, fashionable London, the play centres on a 'power' party in an elegant flat. The party is hosted by suave Gavin. While his guests prattle about the latest health club and island retreats, people are being rounded up in the streets below. Eerily this brutal suppression in the outside world is only fleetingly referred to by the party goers. This is the world television premiere of Harold Pinter's play directed specially for WITHOUT WALLS. It was first performed at the Almeida Theatre in the autumn of 1991.
