Forrest Gump
Period drama. Forrest Gump has a `sub-normal' I.Q. score although his mother has always strived to make him feel no different from anyone else. As an adult Gump gets sent to Vietnam where he earns a decoration for bravery. On his return home Gump follows a celebrity career as a ping-pong player. Later he becomes a millionaire after buying a shrimp boat in honour of a friend who died in Vietnam who had always wanted to be a shrimp boat captain. Forrest Gump's main desire though is for Jenny, the girl who first befriended him at school.
