Strange Days
Action thriller involving Lenny Nero, a former cop who now deals in an illegal mechanism called a SQUID - Superconducting Quantum Interference Device - a clip which when worn makes recordings of events directly from the brain and allows total involvement in them on playback. In the 48 hours before LA celebrates the arrival of the year 2000, Lenny is given a clip showing the rape and murder of his friend Iris. His efforts to catch the killer will put his life at risk and also bring him back in contact with rock singer Faith, the former girlfriend for whom he still pines.
