A Time to Kill
Courtroom drama. Two white boys beat up and rape a black ten-year-old girl. The girl's father guns them down as they are led through the county courthouse and finds himself facing a charge for murder. Lawyer Jake Brigance takes on the defence of the father and with it the prejudices of the local town.
