Film details

Synopsis

Janet Street-Porter takes the Internet to task, claiming its main use is to provide an occupation for boring, inadequate and socially inept people. She is joined by a number of leading figures who argue both for and against the Internet: Private Eye editor Ian Hislop and writer and broadcaster John Diamond agree with her, while author Doug Coupland and Eve Pasco (co-founder of the Cyberia café) argue for the Net's liberating potential.
