Absolute Power
Luther Whitney breaks into a mansion intent on burglary. He dodges into a hiding place when he is interrupted by the arrival of an oldish man and a much younger woman, both drunk. Their sexual foreplay turns violent and Luther watches as it seems the woman is about to stab the man. As she lunges towards him two other men rush into the room and shoot her down. Luther makes his escape although he is spotted but not caught. He later learns that the man and the woman involved in the fight were the President of the United States and the wife of the President's prime backer. Luther realises he could be the scapegoat they need.
