Ever After
A retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale. France in the sixteenth century. Danielle grows up as a skivvy to her step-mother Rodmilla and her two daughters. In an attempt to free an old family servant, Danielle dresses as a noblewoman, goes to court, and meets the Prince. They fall in love. Danielle appears at a bride-choosing ball but Rodmilla exposes her. At first the Prince rejects her, but they eventually marry.
