Shergar
Drama. The story is based on the true tale of the mysterious kidnapping of champion racehorse and Derby winner Shergar in 1983. The horse was stolen and kept at a farm run by a borderline IRA sympathiser, Garritty. When the Irish authorities refused to pay the ransom of five million pounds, the order was given for the horse to be killed, but it escaped, ridden by a young stable boy, Kevin.
