The Hiding Place

Drama. A middle-aged man, Jack, visits his mother, as he does every week. On this occasion she appears to be slipping in and out of reality, constantly referring to her dead husband as if he were still alive. Upset, Jack calls his wife, who arranges for her mother-in-law to be admitted to a geriatric hospital, having been ready to do so for the past four years without ever telling her husband. As Jack prepares his mother's belongings, she in turn attempts to spoil her daughter-in-law's plan.
