El INVIERNO DE LAS ANJANAS

In 19th century Spain, in the region of Cantabria, a young girl, Adelaida, meets Eusebio, a fisherman. She falls in love with Eusebio, who is then drafted into the army to fight the Spanish-Cuban war. When she hears that Eusebio has been killed, she refuses to accept the fact, and is incarcerated in an asylum by her family.
