About Schmidt
On the brink of retirement and vaguely dissatisfied with his life, Warren Schmidt finds himself adrift when his wife dies suddenly. Unable to talk his daughter Jeannie out of marrying a man he feels isn't good enough for her, Schmidt then discovers that his wife was once unfaithful to him with his best friend. Schmidt finally decides that he must travel to Denver and stop Jeannie from marrying.
