Frida
A biopic about Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, whose talents became evident while she was convalescing from a horrific accident that nearly left her crippled. When she is able to walk again, Frida takes her work to a famous painter of murals, Diego Rivera, and a romance develops into marriage. It is a tempestuous relationship, punctuated by numerous infidelities on his part and her affairs with both men and women, including Leon Trotsky.
