Monster's Ball
Drama about three generations of the Grotowski family: Hank and his son Sonny both work as guards on death row and their invalid father Buck is confined to the family home spewing forth racist epithets. Sonny has a habit of vomiting the day before the execution of an inmate but when he throws up while walking black prisoner Lawrence Musgrove to be executed, Hank is overcome with shame.
