War Horse
Drama. The adventures of an English horse sold to the British army during the First World War. The horse is bought at auction by a farmer and used, unsuitably, as a plough horse. The farmer's son, Albert, is sad to see the horse, which he has named Joey, be bought by the Army, and vows to see him again. Joey is sent to France and has adventures at the hands of various characters, both British and German, military and civilian. When Albert signs up to fight and is sent to the trenches, it seems that a reunion with Joey may be looming after all.
