Stephen Dwoskin In Conversation

One of the founding members of the influential London Film-makers Co-op, Stephen Dwoskin has been a pioneering artist of the avant-garde. His experimental methods of storytelling reference gaze and voyeurism theories which have frequently led to comparisons with Andy Warhol. Dwoskin remains a passionate advocate of independent filmmaking, as we discover during this insightful conversation about his distinctive work. He also discusses the prophetic Big Brother-esque surveillance methods employed in his film Central Bazaar (1974), recently released on DVD by the BFI.
