Michael Winner on The Third Man

Michael Winner recalls seeing Carol Reed’s iconic film noir The Third Man at 14 when at school. He admires the incredible work of many of the film’s contributors – Graham Greene and his impeccable script, Anton Karas and his zither score, not to mention the performances of Joseph Cotten, Alida Valli, and Orson Welles.

Michael Winner was speaking at a screening of The Third Man shown courtesy of BFI Screen Epiphanies in partnership with American Express®.
