Ken Loach on A Blonde in Love

Ken Loach introduces A Blonde in Love (1965), a wry tale about the impossible odds of a youthful romance in Communist Czechoslovakia directed by Milos Forman. Loach describes the similarities between Forman’s work and his own, and the preference both directors share for using non-professional actors.

Ken Loach was speaking at a screening of A Blonde in Love shown courtesy of BFI Screen Epiphanies in partnership with American Express®.
