BFI Head Curator Robin Baker interviews composer Nitin Sawhney about the latter’s music for the new restoration of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger (1926). This thriller, about a man suspected of being a serial killer, was later described by its director as being the “first true Hitchcock film”.
