I’ve tried to strike a balance between periods and to give great works and great makers their due; to post some films up on the board that may not otherwise be there, and to reinforce the case of key contenders. However, I have been driven more than anything to represent works that for me have pieced together, at different times in my life, cinema’s magic mirror.
