Comments
The latest film mentioned is from 1977 – I deliberately wanted to include works that have stood the test of time. Also, the first half of my list is composed of films in which imagination (today much underprivileged) plays a central role. The second half is more related to a realistic approach, however arbitrary the distinction may seem.
