There’s no way I could narrow it down to ten, but I’ve had a good go at it, and my criteria for what constituted a great film ended up being quite diverse. It was important for me to include a few shorts, which I imagine are often neglected in such polls. In all honesty, and probably like most of the lists you’re getting, one could say this is a random sampling from a much larger list of the films that I consider the greatest.
