My list doesn’t include masterpices by Orson Wells (Citizen Kane), Jean Renoir (La règle du jeu), and Alfred Hitchcock (Vertigo), but I find it fair to skip them in my personal top ten because the majority of the poll participants will obviously vote for them. I have put on my list films that are both pleasure and torment for my sense and sensibility.
